I've got the Soare paired with the Daiwa Ballistic. It's a fun outfit that I need to use more often.

My Shimano Soare S76UL-S is paired with a Vanford 2000 or a new inbound JDM 19 Stradic C2000S.
I really like the longer length for distance casting and line control on trout/smallmouth rivers with 2# FC.

I got the rod for the casting distance and it certainly added to how far I can cast. It will cast a 1/16 jig a long way. Really nice rod for not a lot of $$$.

I researched the Shimano Soare and really enjoy the S76UL-S,,,,,, just ordered the S76UL-T model which has more tip stiffness and slightly higher line/lure weight specs.

Both are readily available on the JDM market. Mine was from eBay which has lower total pricing than direct from retailer with their added shipping costs.
