    Default Shimano Soare

I purchased my first one a little over four years ago and I liked it so much I bought another one plus two spare rod tips if I break one. Last week I ordered the 7'6" model and it arrived four days later. I put a Garcia REVO MGX20 with 2# mono and one of my 1/32 duck feather specials and took it out on it's maiden trip to local city park lake. Wind was blowing pretty hard when I arrived and didn't get the distance I wanted on my float n fly on the first cast. Started working it back, cork disappears and set hook into a good fish pulling drag. Thought I had a Bass but it turned into a crappie when it came up. It measured 15 3/4", not a bad start for the first cast with a new rod. I think I will keep this rod for further research. Redear was caught at another lake a few days earlier, 10.5". First citation fish in over a year.

    JJJ,

Would you have a photo of the 1/32 duck feather special?
I enjoy tying my own jigs and always like to see what others are using with great results.

    Regards,

Size: 124.5 KB These are 1/16 , I was using a smaller version with a #6 hook. Redear was caught on the 7' Soare before the 7.5' arrived.

Nice jigs and two awesome fish. I have the 7.6 Soare, a super fun all around rod.
