    Default Warming Up

The temps are going and the fish are getting active. The creeks is still to high to wade, so I have been fishing the pond.

15mph varying gusty winds have forced me to find an area that has the wind behind me to have a chance to get a 3.5 gram spinner launched.

So far the last few days I've caught 10 Sunfish, 13 Largemouth Bass and 4 Crappie. All released to keep on growing.

Sunfish ran 8.5", Largest Bass was 16.5" and largest Crappie was 10".

All caught on home made spinner with single hook.

    kevk,
Nice pics , that's a great looking pumpkinseed. Single hooks on all panfish lures is a good idea.

Real nice colors and catch, Kev. I finally got my first of the season here in SE PA on Wednesday. 4 little pans bank fishing but fun to finally get things going. Winds have been on the strong side here as well.

Good looking fish, wind finally laid down here for a day or two and the weather is warming. I always enjoy a mixed bag, it makes the next bite a guess as to who is coming to hand.
