    Default First of Year

The ice has melted and I caught some fish. I went to the pond about 1/2 mile from the house. First 3 days were a skunk.

Got a little warmer on Saturday. Used a custom 6' 6" UL rod and Diawa reel with 4# Varivas Super Trout Advanced Sight Edition, and homemade spinner.Name: CIMG5495 - Copy.jpg

End up with 8 Gills, 1 Perch and 1 Large Mouth Bass.

That perch is almost big enough for a meal by itself!
