I know this is an old thread, but when I broke my 6'7" Eradicator, it was definitely my fault. How do you explain winding the tip around a trolling motor prop? DOH

I did, however, buy and receive my replacement AG Eradicator RF76SULT top half quite fast from JDM angler heaven, and cheaper than I thought, what with exchange rate an' all. You forget all about the break after you get a new tip - I should know.

Hope you get this figured out and put to bed. Gotta be frustrating.

Now that fish was not even 4 ounces and I am sure that was not the cause. Somehow the blank was compromised. This was the first trip out with this rod and I feel it was that way when I got it. Those of us who buy these rods know that can happen so no need for me to cry over spilt milk. I will try to get a replacement top and see how it goes. I had caught about 30 fish before this happened. It was a great rod for crappie and bluegill. The sensitivity was off the charts. This is life.

some of the blanks are so paper thin these days that a micro scratch and JUST the right bend and KABOOM !
