DHL-Santa delivered my 21 Presso LT this evening. Spooled it up with 2 lb Gamma, and will be heading to my local fishin' hole in the AM to find some crappie.
Just watched the video, great job. You’ve got to have the ultimate candy store for JDM tackle at your disposal! I thanked you a number of times for your recommendations on tackle.
Hope you get to feeling better soon!

RyanRX7, hope you don't mind if i take a shot....it's probably has to do with line management (should be non-issue with new tech) since most of us here still using good ol' American made mono with its quirk when diameter gets smaller, like memory and line twist. Randy probably have the more specific reasons. BTW the Presso is one impressive reel, but i'm telling myself if i can resist buying 2 reels i like maybe i can save for a reel i really want: the 2022 Daiwa Exist. Lol...cheers!
Thanks for the reply, I’m trying to decide which model to get and wanted to be sure I wasn’t misunderstanding their differences.
Maybe the spool is even shallower or shorter but has a larger diameter.

Ok..to clear up. Spools are same line capacity...but different size. The 2000 is an SS, or Super Shallow Spool. The 1000 is just a Shallow spool.

Ah, that answers it. Thank you for that clarification.
