    Default Ordered Glass Rod

Put in an order for a Major Craft 4’ 10” UL Fine Tail Glass Stream rod. Haven’t used a glass rod in years. This should do nicely in streams for fun with smaller fish yet can handle bigger trout if need be. Got a lot of micro spoons I can use with rod. Should be here by Christmas.

    Regards

Enjoy the new fiber. All my glass rods are 40+ years old. Would like to do a side-by-side with one of the modern ones. Might be time to match one with the incoming Morrum SX1600.

Reviving an older thread. Did you ever get and use the glass rod? I've been a fiberglass fan for ages . Long time member of the fiberglass flyrodders forum but now, at 80, no longer have the agility and balance to stand In a river and wave a stick. Guess my fg fly rods will waste away in the closet. I wouldn't mind having a nice little ul spinning rod made of glass.
