Was about 95 out . Went to the creek for some Smallmouth Bass fishing. Daiwa Exceler LT with 3#mono. Custom 6.5 foot ultralight rod.
Home made spinner. Got 5 Smallmouth and 2 Rockbass in about 45 minutes. Wet wading, water was warm. Only 1 bass picture and creek.
Creek feeds into the Susky in Pa.

What a nice looking piece of water. It reminds me a lot of my home water. Congrats on a nice outing.

Those little creeks will surprise you sometimes with some monster fish
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Nice looking stream. Reminds me of the Little Luckymute I fished in high school for trout. Ah, ah. I lived in Oregon most my life. In Oregon you don't fish for trout and you risk going to jail! Love that stream. This area bringing back to many old memory's. One thing I really remember about the Little Luckymute was going to the hardware store at home and picking up a few Indiana Spinner's to fish with and getting night crawler's out of grandpa garden the night before. Grandpa used to try to make us think he was upset about chasing them in his garden, he had the best garden in town, but I don't think he minded to much. Got us away from the house for day!
I spent a couple of years in the early 70's in Coos Bay, while in the Coast Guard.
Beautiful area.

Wonderful stream. That’s how I know that God blesses us every day we go, we get to enjoy the most peaceful, most beautiful places on the planet. Glad you got out and got a smile on your face. The smallies always get me excited.
