Smallest I saw was the 2000 in stock but just randomly noticed they had them. I’m more of a Daiwa guy myself although no issues with my little size 500 shimano.

Think I'm about to pull the trigger on two 2023 Vanquish reels and wait patiently for them to ship.

I'll use them with 5'8", 6'3", and 6'10" Lunakia rods.

I went to a local shop yesterday and found a few reels that I’ve thought about lately. The miravel was a 2500 but felt good in the hand and operation was very smooth. No interest in that size but the reel itself was nicely done and for the money I found it a good deal. They also had Sedona and Sahara. Both were pretty heavy but smooth enough to be a consideration in that price range. They surprised me, better than the last ones I’d handled.

Forgot to say that the Sahara and Sedona were both 500 size.

The newer Sahara and Sedona 500 reels are smooth and right at 6oz , so fairly light . The issue is they both have a 5.2/1 gear ratio .
I think you’ll like the Soare BB you ordered . I hope so anyways .
