Thanks. I got some .5, 1, and 1.5 gram jig heads. They seem to get good marks around here.

They have been in Nashville since Thursday.....but will not be delivered until Wednesday. I will give a report the minute I get them. One I have coming is the most popular light game jig head in Japan....according to what Digitaka told me. We’ll see.

Received the jig heads today. The ODZ jig head...center in the pic....is very sharp. It is right there with the Daiwa Gekkabijin jig head. The Decoy jig head....bottom in pic.....is all nickel plated. It has been my experience when the hook gets the plating it dulls the point. This is true of the gold and nickel TM jig heads and it is true of this Decoy jig head. The Decoy jig head does have a very nice lure keeper on the hook shaft. I should also note that the Decoy has a gaped hook. It holds the TM body very secure. I suspect this feature is one of the reasons it is a popular jig head in Japan. Japanese Ajing plastics are very soft...and a bit pricey....so I’m sure the anglers there try to do all they can to conserve their plastics. If you look close you can see the lure keeper on the Decoy jig head pic. The Decoy jig heads are assembled in China from Japanese made components. The ODZ jig heads are manufactured in Japan. I will use these jig heads no doubt. I am sure the ODZ hook will easily penetrate the bony part of the mouth of a KY bass on contact....it is that sharp. I am thinking the Decoy jig head will not do as well. The Decoy jig head does not pass the finger nail test. It does not dig in....it just polishes your nail. I am just assuming here but I’m thinking the Daiwa Gekkabijin jig heads could show back up in a month or two. Will be trying these new jig heads this week.

I was able to grab some of these last week. Thanks for the heads up Stan!
I left the glow ones in my cart by accident but I’m sure I’ll find a use for them.
Also picked up line to try out. Wanted to give some ester a go as I’ve not used it before.

I have a lot of them in the glow color. Since I've run out of black, I picked up a bottle of black fingernail polish to try painting a few. The glow work best when fishing crappie deep (15 feet or more), although I must say the bream don't seem to care for one over the other. I did some hand-ties in various color schemes with the glow, and I must say a glow head tied with gold chenile/chartreuse hackle is deadly on crappie and trout in stained water.
