Has anyone had experience with Ebay seller Matthew0408?
I don't have anywhere near Alphahawk's experience but I do own the Blue Current 93 TZ's little brother - a new Blue Current 71 TZ/Nano.
Yamaga Blanks designs their Blue Current series as versatile rods for different species so my guess is the 93 TZ would be fine for mebaring (rockfish) according to Yamaga's description of that rod.

I've kept an eye on him for a couple of years now because his prices are usually lower than everybody else....His rating has continued to drop he's now down in the 96% range...Reading his feedback he sold a Rockin Drift awhile back that was damaged don't know how it was resolved...buy at your own risk...
Difficult to answer but from owning several Mebaru rods from different manufacturers I would say no. But shoot who am I to tell Yamaga Blanks their rod is not for Mebaru.....their rods are just not like other Mebaru rods I own or have owned. Tict.....and Major Craft Mebaru rods are nowhere near as fast and rigid as the Blue Current TZ rods I’ve owned.....6’ 5”.....6’ 10” and the 8’ 3”. Of course the newer TZ Nano’s are I think even more rigid. None of the BC rods I’ve owned are any good for crappie....at least in my opinion. All my other Mebaru rods are excellent for crappie.....much softer than the BC. I do love the TZ line of rods though. Here is TZ Nano bending curve....I’m sure you’ve seen it but I will post it here.

Just heard back from a YouTube Area Trout fisherman in Japan who owns several Presso rods with the J designation. He says he investigated and cannot find out what it means.

Thanks...since you posted the link with the metal tipped rod I started checking out the SMT tipped rods...What are your thoughts on the SMT vs the SMTT? after using the Lunakia tubular tip the SMTT might be something I might try...
Alphahawk,
May I bug you a bit more about Gekkabijin MX Ajing? It appears to have a somewhat unusual joint where the upper section of the rod is inserted in the lower section, not vice versa. Did you find it affecting the action in any way? Seems to make for a much thicker butt than in the other comparable models on the market...
I have watched the few short reviews available on Youtube in different languages (luckily, I can do that). Nobody seems to particularly rave about this series from Daiwa, but it also seems the user bias may have contributed...
Best,
