Yes, bought a Major Craft rod and Daiwa reel from Asian Portal. No issues at all. Another Major Craft rod is on the way.

They have some of the lowest prices I've seen if they have what you're looking for.

As MtnFisher said they are reputable. I always start my search at Digitaka to get the price they are offering. Then I start my research to find the best price. Most of the time you will find the price of reels at Digitaka will be hard to beat. But that is not written in stone. In the past couple of years Japanese sellers on eBay have some very good prices. The Ballistic FW is now selling at $196 on eBay yet is still at $265 on Digitaka. I looked for a couple of years for the Presso Limited AGS rod I just bought. Of all places it showed up on eBay at a crazy price. Last year Asian Portal had a great buy on a Silverna Taki TZ trout rod....also free shipping.....that is a 1 piece rod and that can add 100 bucks to the price of the rod so that was a great buy. But in the end I decided not get it as a 1 piece UL rods is just asking to be broke while traveling. My point is.....look around a lot. Sometimes you can save yourself a lot of money. But there is an old saying “Think long think wrong”....LOL. You see a JDM item you want and you decide to sleep on it you will wake up and find it is gone.

    Regards

I just pulled the trigger on a Shimano Soare BB 7'0" UL solid tip rod. I needed another rod to complement my 7'3" Triple Cross and I'm hoping this rod does that.

I've also got a Major Craft Finetail SUL 6'3" area rod and a high dollar Tenryu Rayz Alter Area stage rod. I may sell the Tenryu because I want a Tict Ice Cube rod.

Anyway, I'm excited for this Soare BB rod. I know it's not high end JDM, but I feel blessed nonetheless.

So I would love to try one of these high end rods from over seas but when I look up Olympic or Evergreen there is none in stock. I would like a nice 6' ul or xul for crappie season this year,I mean I guess I can always go and buy a G Loomis but was hoping to try something different. So my long winded question does anyone here in the know were there might be an in stock rod on par with an bellezza super 18 by Olympic xul or ul that is in stock??

    thanks much....Jay
