Nice! Congratulations! I saw that sale at 2 am the day it had started and figured 60XUL would be the first one to go. Voila... Can't quite make peace with the fact that they look a lot like the USDM Presso (I have a long one for float fishing). I do know those are very different rods... no need to throw stones in my direction...

Any worries about shipping and customs during these uncertain times?

Per Toray 1100G found in this Presso's GUIDE FRAME, do you mean to say that Graphiteleader uses it for their BLANKS?
Yes in some of their high end rods....Super Bellezza.....Super Corto.....Finezza Prototype.....and others.

No worries. Haven't had a problem with recent purchases from Platt or several other Japanese vendors in the past several weeks. The postman has been standing at arms length when he gives me the tablet to sign, tho. That could just be because of me. And we've been spraying all our mail down with Lysol and allowing it to dwell prior to opening.

Go to Platt's website and sign up for email alerts. Or visit their site daily. I missed buying the rod Monday as it went quick, but got it early this morning when it was relisted. It's gone again now. No wonder, a $500 rod for $250.

Is $227 for a Daiwa presso 60xul a good deal?
