I’d say the Rockin Power is probably more along the lines of the Corto as far as stiffness/feel... just what I would think... the Tict rods are on par with the Corto for sure... I sure do like my Rockin Finesse

For less than $175 including shipping from Digitaka, I’m very happy and impressed with the major craft finetail area trout rod FAX-632UL. I use it for crappie , trout and other panfish with light jig heads in the 0.7-2g .... although it’s made in Vietnam and not Japan the finish and quality is remarkable. I pulled the trigger on this rod after watching Randy’s review on YouTube. My only complaint is after receiving it I was immediately hooked into buying more JDM stuff !!! Lol my next purchase will be a saltwater rod and I’m doing more research on the Apia, Olympic and Yamaga blanks line up.... so many attractive options it’s overwhelming!

What kind of saltwater fishing will you be doing? I wouldn’t be afraid to fish for flounder in the creeks etc with my 7’4” Corto... I will say I picked up a crazy stiff Daiwa rod that I am going to try for pompano this year... DAIWA GEKKABIJIN MX AJING 75HS-S V Light Game <this is what I am going to try out for pompano 1/2oz and 3/4oz jigheads

I can only afford one high end rod to meet all my saltwater fishing needs. I’m very interested into the blue current III all range. Seems like I can fish from jetties with this or do some light jigging from the beach (for flounders) or cast a pompano rig from the surf etc... I watch a few videos of fishermen hooking up good size fish with both the 8’5 and 9’3 version of the rod.

No it’s not made in Japan. When you buy a lot of rods you can start seeing the subtle differences in build quality. You have to look hard to find it but you will see things like maybe the EVA foam is a tiny bit ascu with the reel seat....little things like that. Graphiteleader....Evergreen......Smith......Jackal l....and companies I am not familiar with really have superb workmanship. But this doesn’t take away anything from the functionality of the rod. I love my Tict rods.....I have 2....and I would not hesitate to buy again. As a matter of fact I want to get a Tict Ajing rod. I have a $500 MegaBass ShoreLuck Limited that I got on sale for $250....the rod is now discontinued and I have only fished it once. I take it out every once in a while just to look at...LOL. It is a thing of beauty. I will also get a Super Bellezza. There are a lot of rods out of Japan I want to try. I’m going to keep buying.....and reviewing......as long as I can. Buying for this year is probably done as far as rods and reels go. I’m concentrating now on customizing reels with knobs...bearings.....handles. I have my sweet spot in jig heads coming to get me through the fall....the 1.5 gram Daiwa Gekkabijin jig head with #8 hook. Need to determine which lines I will put on all these new reels and get them ordered. Of course I got off on a rant but as to how much I like my Tict rods.....they are not for sale nor will they be. I’ve sold a few of my rods but the Tict have a special status.

    Regards

Finding a decent place to buy these things is a bit of a Google challenge.
