They’re normal threads that members are actually interested in. Most sticky threads are completely ignored.

My point exactly. Sticky threads are often ignored. Threads that have interest are driven to the top often and don't require to be a sticky.

Originally, this was not a sticky thread. I think I asked Alphahawk to start a thread about JDM rods. He did and it is the OP in this thread.

For at least a year or two, there was very little interest in JDM tackle. Then, more and more people started asking questions, so I made it a sticky. Then, people started asking about JDM reels. Then, line. That's where we are today.
