im using it in ot so deep water — maybe 6-8’. I have fairly dense grass than catches weed when they are deeper so the drop shot allowed the lighter bait to suspend over the grass a bit. I jigged it back like a jighead. I felt like the bottom contact of the drop weight allowed for more sensitivity resulting excellent but detection and far less weed on the hook. We’ll see how future outings shake out. God luck

You may have seen these or similar rods, but the handling and the bending curves considering the lengths just blows my mind:

    Eradicator Finesse 6.10 LS

Stuck a nice TARP White Crappie tonight with the ABU. He sure did put a bend in the soft but super sensitive rod. Name: Adjustments.jpg

Three hard runs at the boat and a scramble for the net...gave me all that I wanted for sure. An amazing piece of graphite from Pure Fishing it is.

Big congrats! Those Eradicators are special no doubt..so special it has caused me to purchase another Abu Garcia rod that is made with same blank material. It is the 6’ 2” UL Diplomat Extreme. It has a hybrid guide train....Fuji Torzite stripper guide and Torzite tip top. The guides in between are Fuji Carbon Micro Guides. It is a soft action rod...softer than the Eradicator Slow Taper...yet sensitivity is off the charts. The weight is a mere 47 grams! I have a report from the only person I know who has one....and has fished it......that is the most sensitive fun rod there is. And this man owns Supper Bellezza’s....Ever Green Superiors....Eradicators and many others. I’m all about the fun now and really excited to get this rod.

    Regards

Wow, just looked up specs for that rod you mentioned above. They are doing great things with their blanks and for a reasonable price as well. Looking forward to the reviews. For my style fishing....sort of power UL finesse, the 6.10 hits the sweet spot!

Congrats on another Abu rod addition, Alphahawk. Can’t wait to see you put it in action and tell us all about it

Countless crappies and a handful of bass; capped off with my largest to date on JDM UL gear - prob around 4 1/2 lbs.

Awesome looking water you got there! We have same Tict rod but I won’t know what’s it like catching bass that big on it ...for now Thanks for showing.
