Also piggy-backing off the post above - I think a "Deals" sticky thread could be beneficial. Maybe an email distribution list when one of the big sites has a nice sale? Whoever sees the sale, emails the group, and those that opt in will get the message. Just thinkin' out loud...

Fished with the 67 slow taper special this am for a bit. This is my first time fishing with 2.4 pound Ester mono. That line cast really good compared to the 2 pound SOS & is super sensitive. Quite a bunch of assorted fish on 1 inch slider grubs.

This rod is just superb at bite detection and playing a fish with this rod is pure joy. The bend in the rod really helps protect the ester line. Just can’t say enough good things about this rod.

Hi Alphahawk, nice catch as always..glad you enjoy the new Abu! You seem to be one of the members here willing to give out information of where fish was caught so someone like me can some day also enjoy the location (don't worry i'm a CPR-catch photo release fisherman, i won't put a single dent on crappie population..lol) I viewed Nickajack out of google earth arial view and it's very nice lake, would you say bank fishing is very accessible from major roads, especially below the dams? Thanks in advance!

Well, here I go for a different adventure...

I have been looking for a rod with a bit more oomph to it for smallmouth, I have the 702ML Basspara from MajorCraft, it’s decent enough, but lacks the refinement I have somehow accustomed myself to with the Tenryu/Abu/Graphiteleader.

So, I found an excellent price on the 752MMH Lunakia and decided for $280+ shipping it was worth a shot, I love my 63 and 610.
