If you search the thread, Yamaga Blue Current rods are highly regarded JDM rods. I know several of us own the BlueCurrent JH-Special 71/TZ NANO rod. It is my go-to for river trout using small plugs, and also for casting to crappie. A bit more forgiving than my other ajing rods I own, and not quite fast enough to shoot docks with (wouldn't want to anyway), I consider it an excellent rod, and would not want to be without it. I have a Luvias 20 2000s reel on it, it makes a beautiful rig!

Ha! I also ordered on 3/26, but didn't make the cut...

It’s a fantastic rod. I had a 65 TZ and a 610 TZ. The newer models are the TZ Nano line. They also have a Blue Current III released in February 2020 but it is not high end like the TZ Nano Line.

I was about to pull the trigger on a new rod but I think I will wait a few months to see if things improve with the shipping. I’m guessing that Digitaka suspected that the shipping issues may be coming and is why they ran a big sale.

Is it a pretty fast rod? I wonder how rigid it is? Thinking about buying another JDM rod to add to my collection. I only have what I would consider one true Ajing rod in the Triple Cross. Thanks

[QUOTE=Alphahawk;3989080]I have never received a rod from DHL. But I have had one come by UPS. What I can tell you about getting rods from Fed Ex and UPS is they charge a handling fee and you will get hit with customs. Have no clue if DHL does the same. If they do as UPS and Fed Ex you will receive a bill in the mail for fees and customs in about 3 weeks.

    Regards

Thanks for the reply guys. I ordered a two piece rod from Digitaka. I have ordered other rods and all were sent EMS. I wonder why this one was sent DHL. I hope the fees if they charge me are not to much. If so kind of hurts the sale price and free shipping. We will have to wait and see.

    Thanks
