    Default Pickwick-Yellow Creek

Well, Jeff White and I fished together for the first time this morning. WHat a supper nice guy. Also very knowledgable about crankbaits, troling, and crappie in general. Made a new fishing freind today.

We started trolling around 6am and it was slow for the first hour. It was cdloudy, and rainy. We actually got COLD during one rain storm. Been a long time since I got cold. Anyway, we hit 3 or 4 areas not catching very many, when finally the sun brok through and we started catching them more regualr. I think we ended up with either 11 or 12. We had 4 between 13 and 15". Jeff has a boat set up for some serious crankbait fishing. Today was the first time I ever used plainer boards. WIll be buying some very soon. Jeff thanks for the trip. Looking forward to taking another to Bay Springs in the near future.

    Here are some pics.
