Has any one ever fished the sipsey river for Rainbow trout?

I've tried to fish it a couple of times. I caught several small ones, but I don't think they get really big anyway. I used flies from the that fly shop right off 69. He teaches a fly tying class and rents float tubes. He gave me information how to catch them. I saw some people using whole kernel corn for bait, but was told it wasn't good for the trout.
