I use a darker grub and add a little smell to it like a crappie nibble. also crappie may move up a little.good luck and good fishing..

I like the darker jigs also, but dad always told me that the muddy water bothered the fisherman, more than the fish. GOOD FISHING.

Pumpkinseed bass assassin or bobby garland works pretty good in muddy water. Went past Saturday under North Sauty bridge (no boat) had ended up with 26 that measured (about another 10 didnt measure). I went early at Preston Island and only caught two, but were slabs. Fished under bridge from like 11-230. Fished fairly close to the bottom around 13ft. Good luck
