    Default Little Bear

We're (wife & I) going Sunday afternoon, staying overnight at the cabins and leaving Monday around noon. Bringing the night lights to try Sunday night. Any help appreciated as we're kinda newbies and I really want to see her rod bow up a few times.
    Thanks!!

The last time I was by there it was only a creek. That was about 4 months ago. Not much fishing to be done there.

I spoke with Sue at Elliot Campground today. The repairs are finished and the water, although conning up, is still "several" feet low. Really would like to try the lights Sunday nite - PM me with a little "inside info" and it will certainly be appreciated.

There is a rock pile you can see to the right from the boat launch. It usually holds bass and everybody fishes there. I haven't been up there since the water was let down. The 3rd neck on the right away from the dam has lots of stumps in it.

I think you may be right. I can not keep up with the names. The one that is at Horseshoe Bend is the one I was talking about, it was real low about 4 months ago, someone said they were working on the dam. But I fish the Upper Bear most of the time and it's been ok on water level, up alittle I think.
Sorry if this was miss infromation.

Little Bear Report - 5/5/2008. Brought home 10 crappie and 4 bass - 1 was 8 lb. 8 oz.! Lost several more good crappie at boatside. All were caught on 6# line 8-11 feet deep. Most on minnows and the rest on black/chart jigs. Cabin was very nice and well worth a good nights rest. Tried night fishing - only 1 crappie at night. Check out the Ms. Crappie T-Shirt and Rod!!!!!
