I fell in love with the Nikko pin tail worms after this trip, the Gills and Shellcrackers slammed them. As is typical you find a new bait that you love and works and everyone is sold out. I finally found a site in Zagreb, Croatia that had them. Shipping was only $20 and they arrived from DHL in a few days. I'm prepared for the remainder of the summer now!!!

Yes, I know, lost my mind! I fish from a kayak, everyone already knew I was a little off.

How exactly do you fish them?

I used them as a jig body (1/64th oz) under a bobber and also just casting with a 1/64th oz jig head, basically bottom bouncing. They hit these things as good as a cricket or redworm, but newer plastic that survives multiple fish. Not much room in a kayak so I don't want to carry live bait. Should be great for Crappie in clear water where I already downsize anyway.

Sorry, use a Trout Magnet or Bobby Garland Itty Bit Jighead. Bass Pro or Cabela's have both.
