Awesome job. Nice mess of good eats.
I fished Ditto after work Friday keeping 9 Crappie and returning a dozen larger fish. All fish came off single pole on isolated laydowns.
Saturday Morning had time for a short trip back to Swan Creek, only added one Crappie the size I like, but returned 12 or 15 larger fish in the 12-to-15-inch range using single pole again on isolated laydowns. I spent most of the morning looking for Gills. Found a few beds with no fish, but found Gills in the area. I think they're just getting starting and the rain and cooldown slowed them down a bit. I kept 20 that were 9 to 10 inches and returned several Bass.
The water in Swan is back up about a foot and 77 degrees. Muddy near the train tracks, but clearer back near the launch point.
Awesome job. Nice mess of good eats.
Nice gills, nice day out.

Too blessed to be stressed!
What are you catching the gills on?

Little bit of everything, small spinners, jig and bobber. I tried Redworm on the bottom in the areas with beds, but only got two that way. The Largest are coming off a 1/32oz jig head with a z-man baby ballerz body in Chartreuse and White. That's the same bait the Crappie are coming off of.

I found some on bed my last trip casting the banks looking for crappie. I had red worms which I tried after I caught one. Then tried 1 inch sliders. They would hit it but couldn’t get a hook set. Switched back to what I caught the first one on,a Bobby garland baby shad in may fly. They were devouring it but nothing else. Kinda strange to me but I probably caught 15-20 on it. Three 9-10 inch but more small ones.
