They must have shocked them good. Spent 3 hours in Anderson Creek today. Not one crappie trolling. Several stripe.
I was on anderson creek Wednesday looked up and here they come. I have seen the state boat with booms they use to shock and count fish before, but there was four boats going up the creek. It was a something to see they headed to the back of the creek. Any body on this forum see them and have a clue what they were doing. I have followed them but didn't this time.

That was the reason for my post the creek has not been good to me, if you fish the creek much you have seen me I shoot docks and that is all I do. The fish under shallow docks for me have not been there. I know the state checks our waters but never seen four boats together before, hope they do something to help I have not had a good spring in several years. I am retired don't want a limit but a good outing would be nice. I release most big fish something has changed on elk fish are hard to come by. Thoughs please
The weather we have had hasn't helped the fishing much this year. I've been talking to others in different areas around the state and I believe we are all experiencing the same thing as us here in North AL.

I know what I'm about say was last year.... But... I saw them out last mid april and asked them about their trip and general curiosities and they said they were shocking up white bass for stock at Tim's Ford of all places.

They weren't shocking up many crappie there last spring. I haven't done any good there the last few years and don't know what happened to Anderson creek and lower Elk, but it is depressing
Several years back, bank fishing on Hatchett for walleyes ,if I saw I packed up and left.
