Thats the 2nd app now that Ive seen that has wind gust by the hour. How's it on accuracy? I thought I caught the apple weather app in a lie once when it said rain starting in 1 hour. It started sprinkling rain so I look back at the app and it updated to 10% current chance of rain

I like it a lot as there is a map and you choose a location and also can create a spot (like the area of the lake normally fish). By creating a favorite spot it gives more accurate for that area.
For example you could put Birmingham, AL in weather app but it may not rain in the south part of Birmingham but will in the north. The weather app wouldn’t tell you the difference you’d have to look at the map but windy shows your spot, wind directions (throughout the day) and how strong. You can also check the different types of forecasts in windy. Try it as it’s free! (Does have premium stuff too)

I will check that out. Thx. I do use several saved locations so I can get more current & accurate weather reports on different areas of the lakes. Ive figured out how to get alerts on screen with active captain, like "rain 1 mile from your location or lightning 10 miles away" but would be nice to get the live radar from my phone to the Ultra so Im not having to get the phone out so much when fishing right up to the storm
Thanks Lund thanked you for this post

I like the accuweather app. I used to use weather underground a while ago, but I can't speak on how it is now.
