Default Kayak Trip Report, Ditto Landing, Part 2!

I decided to take off work a little early and return to Ditto today. I spider rigged with 5 poles using a 1/20oz jig head w/Glow Chartreuse z-man baby ballerz jig body about 18 inches deep in 3 to 4 feet of water. I kept 23, returned about the same number of larger fish and endless shorts. Sometimes 8 or 10 shorts in a row before a fish that would measure. Great afternoon on the water, the back slough north of the boat harbor is loaded with fish. I didn't even spend any time jigging the laydowns. Visibility of about 12 inches and 65 degrees when I started, 68 degrees when I left. The laydowns all along the Northside should also be stacked up with fish. Maybe I'll return Sunday or next week after the rain.

I knew it was time for them to be in there! Just haven’t had the time to get over there. Great job Ditch
