Thread: Anyone been out recently?

Guntersville still pretty stained today and so was paint rock river!

Crossing 65 the water looks pretty clear. The slough on the south side of the bridge is much higher than last week.

I’ve been out on the river twice in the past week and the warmest temps we found was 47°.

I was hoping the water would be 50 or more. I may give it a go on Friday and see what happens.

Been chomping at the bit to get out but my motor is missing firing when I try to get on plane and I’ve worked on it with no luck have to take it in and it will still be at least a week before they can get to it.

Fished BCDA lake today. Was a tough first outing of the year but think I figured something out towards end of the day. So I'm going again tomorrow to see what happens. Several shorts and 5 keepers

My wife and I fished Neely Henry yesterday. It was our first trip out this year. The water still had a decent stain to it and temps were 48-50. We caught 24 crappie with 15 decent keepers. Hope to go again one day next week!
