    Default Anyone been out recently?

Thinking about hitting limestone creek or Indian creek on Friday. I crossed the Decatur bridge today and the water looks up a couple feet from where it was a few weeks ago.

with the cold snap and precip, I’m wondering what kind of water temps we have, and If the creeks are still flowing hard. It doesn’t look too muddy from what I can tell?

Crossing 65 the water looks pretty clear. The slough on the south side of the bridge is much higher than last week.

I’ve been out on the river twice in the past week and the warmest temps we found was 47°.

I was hoping the water would be 50 or more. I may give it a go on Friday and see what happens.

Fished BCDA lake today. Was a tough first outing of the year but think I figured something out towards end of the day. So I'm going again tomorrow to see what happens. Several shorts and 5 keepers

My wife and I fished Neely Henry yesterday. It was our first trip out this year. The water still had a decent stain to it and temps were 48-50. We caught 24 crappie with 15 decent keepers. Hope to go again one day next week!Name: 20240201_155330.jpg

How was the water at Limestone? I thought about walking and bank fishing some pits for a little while tomorrow off Pryor Rd. but wasn’t sure if it was almost flooded back there.
