I did go to limestone. Water was 49 at 6am and 54 at 1pm. It was flowing pretty hard and quite muddy at the mouth by the river, but fairly clear back in limestone creek. Lots of boats spider rigging. I caught 2 crappie at the mouth by the river the headed back into the creek/pits. I was able to get my little John into the middle pit. Caught several more crappie in the creek channel before the first bend to the left. The bass we’re hitting very well there (caught several trying to crappie fish). Nothing in the pits.

Apparently I need a spider rigging 101 tutorial.

Thanks for the report. I’m at home sulking doing honey dos. And mad at the boss for making me work yesterday. Lol. Had planned on fishing the pits this weekend but that all got blown up. But sounds like I would have been wasting my time anyway.

Sorry for the late reply. It was between summer a d winter pool. A little stained but definitely fishable. The mouth was flowing pretty good. I fished 3 hours and got 2 bites.
