Strange though, in Limestone I can usually get a fish off every tree. In this area of the Flint I'll fish several laydowns with nothing, then find a group of Crappie in a small area. A different laydown a 100 feet away looks the same, same depth and often even looks better (more branches throughout the water column) but nothing. There are hundreds of acres of shallows and back water that will be in two or three feet of water this spring along the banks, should be a great spawning area.

I've found the same thing on the Flint. Structure looks the same, but the fish stack up differently. Like that yellow perch in the box.
