Got a really late start but decided to go anyway. Fished from 1:30 until almost 4. Caught crappie on almost every piece of wood I dropped a jig by. Kept 6 nice ones and no telling how many shorts. Couple of nice bass as well. All caught on Rocky Bottoms version of blue ice on a 1/32 head about 6 feet down. Really liking their plastics.

Those cloudy, windy days after a front are magical (until the sun comes out and we get bluebird skies, and everything shuts down)!

Great job, glad you got on some fish.

I had similar success between the bridge and mouth of the creek. Only saw a couple of folks too which is great when you can get it. Caught and released a couple dozen all caught about 4 ft deep on Bobby garland spring minnow. Started in Indian but not a bite. Glad you got a bunch

I almost put in at the ramp but figured I’d be fishing behind 20 boats. I like putting in upstream for that reason. I’ve only saw one boat there a couple times.
