Default Kayak Trip Report, Limestone Bay/Creek

I fished Limestone Creek from the Tennesse River until it opens into the bay/Arrowhead Landing this morning from 6:30AM till around 11:30AM. Wet morning and the wind got up around 8:30 but found lots of willing fish. Kept 23 of the smaller ones I like and return about the same number of larger fish. Gills and shorts were everywhere. Good morning. The water was 50 degrees with visibility of about 24 inches. All fish came off single pole on laydowns and submerged brush using a 1/20oz Micro Finesse ShroomZ jig head with a Baby BallerZ body fished 8 to 10 feet deep.

Surprised me on the Whites also. I released a handful of larger Blacks, but only four or five. Often the Whites and Blacks are mixed, but sometimes they act like totally different species. Maybe the Blacks were out in the stump fields on the shallow flat?
