Default Throw the book at em judge

Probably old news but it hit my news feed this morning.

They had 170 crappie over the limit on Jan 1 from Enid in Miss.

Judge banned them from fishing anywhere in the world. Most of its symbolic I know but it helps me feel better.

Gotta feeling that judge probably a fan of the thump.

Wonder how they plan to enforce that one.

Well the DNRs are linked together so I would think it will show here in the USA. Worldwide prolly symbolic but still the US ban is huge and warranted.

This stuff goes on all the time very likely in every state in the US, not only fishing but hunting too.
IMHO: The DNR should have confiscated their car/truck/boat, and/or all of their fishing gear until full payment of the fine had been made.
The news article did not specify: But, I'd bet good money that they had that many or more in their freezer at their house.

As I understand it most places will seize the truck, boat and gear
