    You might get some tips on some of the more northern state subforums. I've never caught one on purpose.

    I've read some articles, but plan to just "listen to the fish" and figure them out like I did ShellCrackers.

    They do eat very well. It's only an occasional collateral catch while fishing crappie. Have got them on both Guntersville and Wheeler.

    I have caught several on Pickwick latke (Bear Creek) the last several years.
