I fished Limestone again yesterday; water was 70 degrees at daylight and had warmed to 74 by afternoon. Visibility of about a foot. I tried single pole and jig and bobber in the normal locations, but not much to report. Kept 4 and returned another dozen larger fish. No sign of the fish moving up the creek yet, some small bass starting to stage in the deeper creek channel. Next week's cool down hopefully will start the big move of baitfish and Crappie into the creek. No water is moving down the creek with the drought so lots of leaves on the water making jig and bobber difficult.

Saw a little three-foot Gator yesterday, unusual for a little one to be in that area. Big bull Gator's will usually chase off or kill other Gator in the area except for his girlfriends. I haven't seen the Big Guy yet, hope he's ok. I miss seeing my fishing buddy.
