Default Kayak trip with Ditch Basser

We started just after daylight yesterday. In the dewatering area under i65. It’s a lot of work for old men. It was a good trip. I cleaned 25 today and he took 14. This was not how many we caught we swap out for preferred size fish. I didn’t stead them out for a photo shoot but I got a cooler shot.

We return some 14- and 15-inch fish. Interesting area if you can spider rig to fish in water that's only 12 to 18 inches deep. I don't think we found anything over two foot deep the entire morning.

Aways fun to find willing fish and have it all to yourself. That's what skinny water kayaking is all about!
