Good report. Thanks for sharing
I went to Cotaco today just to see if the crappie have moved up.I started at my usual spots and fished my way toward the river and brought 7 home to fry all fish were caught within 150 yards of the mouth of the creek and I am guessing they were just starting to move into the creek and in a couple weeks it will start to get good

Good job on getting dinner !
we need some rain and some cooler days for sure !
Too blessed to be stressed!
I’m going hit hit cataco 9/29 in the am. I’ll put in at triana and maybe try Indian creek before I pull out.
Wave if you see a little green Jon boat with a guy un-tangling a snag!

Very nice. I fished a few times this week and they are there! I didn't knock them down, but I caught a handful. Hopefully we can get a quick cold snap and a little rain soon. I believe that should really put them on the move. There's a specific place out there that is holding a good many right now, so hopefully the rest of them will follow suit here soon.

Had a pretty good morning. Fished cotaco from 6-1. Caught around 30 crappie, a couple nice bream, and a couple bass.
most crappie were small, but managed 11 over 10”. I kept 5 12” crappie to fry. One 15” got let go to make more.
water was 74 degrees and ver clear.
all crappie caught in about 16-20 feet of water, 6-8 ft deep holding tight on structure. I only fished between the mouth and the ramp.
