Anyone use jigs while night fishing. In an area where obtaining minnows is a 50 mile roundtrip.Just curious.

I was swimming them. Monkey Monkey, Electric Chicken, Blue Ice, Butter Belly all worked well for me

I used to have good luck from the bank swimming a crazy/curly tail slider at dark. June bug/chartreuse and funky monkey. Their name for monkey milk.

Single pole jigging around weed beds at night works good also. I mainly do it in the spring when they move into shallow water.
