I do as well, although I wish they would go ahead and introduce Snakeheads and Tilapia because they taste good!

Don't know about snakeheads,they got em up north.However tilapia won't take the winters, even here in Central bama.Used to cage raise em

That is two good articles about alligators in the North Alabama area. I lived in Morgan County until 1981 then move to South Alabama near Mobile. Every time we went out in the boat we would see gators which was a major problem to us because we were not use to seeing them. We finally got use to them being in the area. It has been at least ten years since I’ve fished where there was not any gators. I would rather have a gator swim by than jet skis running up and down where I’m fishing.

Me too every time I go out on Cotaco I carry a garbage bag and pick up any trash I can

The River Delta in Mobile and Baldwin Counties have an abundance of them. If you get the opportunity to see the Bull mating call. It is rather impressive. A deep roar that you can feel in your chest

I have heard it while fishing Lake Talquin in Florida and you are right it is awesome to see them make the water "dance"

I've heard the big male bellowing in Blackwell Swamp and also the one in upper Limestone. I didn't see the one in Limestone since he was over the bank in one of the gravel pits that's cut off from the main channel, but the Bull in Blackwell I got to watch from a couple hundred feet away. Crazy to watch the sheen of water in the air around him that the vibrations kick up. He was half in and half out of the water.

The female in Blackwell is also very protective of her nest. You'll know if you get to close because she'll start thrashing around it. I was still 100 yards away when she became upset, LOL!
