Default Kayak Trip Report, Forest Ingram Lake

I fished Forest Ingram in Cullman today, the Crappie were biting good until about 10:00AM, when the sun came out, they shut them down quick. I kept 21, returned 5 larger Black Crappie and several dozen short fish. Half and half single pole on isolated brush with a 1/32oz White Marabou, the other half coming off a 3/4" Silver Snap Bean Crank Bait fished along the edges.

I also returned endless little Gills and Bass. I even caught several large Shellcrackers in the 9" to 11" range, also returned. The Shellcracker all came of the little Snap Bean, that's a first.

The water was 79 degrees early and had warmed to 82 after lunch. Visibility was around four feet.
