Default Dock shooting with the fly rod

I went to Guntersville and tried dock shooting with my fly rod yesterday with some new flys that I bought and then copied I caught 7 dink crappie and brought home 6 bass that were just over the 15" size limit.I consider that a good day since I have just started using my fly rod to crappie fish with and was wanting to try it out

9 foot I was using a 5 weight and the flys were a little big for it so I switched to a 9 foot 8 weight and they were a lot easier to throw. I will need to make me some flys that are smaller so I can use the 5 weight

    I saw a B&M pro shoot a 1/16 jig into a solo cup from 55 ft with a 12 ft rod.
