    Default 8 mile

Decided to go tackle the hill yesterday. The duck weed had moved into several of my favorite spots which makes it impossible to fish. But I paddled on past it and found some new lay downs. I’d say I caught close to 50 fish. Only one problem,2 keepers. Lol. Still a lot of fun. Stopped on my way in and checked my gill area. They are still there. They seem to stay in the same area year round. Not much size wise, but still a fun day on the water.

Glad you had a good trip and made it up and down the hill without incident.

It wasn’t fun dragging the 80lb beast up that hill but I just couldn’t stay away any longer. I almost always catch fish there. Just wish they were a few more bigger ones.

Find a way to hang a pulley on your truck bed or trailer hitch so you can stand at the top and pull it up with half the effort….great report

Man that's a good idea. Get you some snatch blocks and you can treat it like a vehicle recovery except you are the winch lol. Never bad to have some snatch blocks in your truck either for other purposes.
