I fished the upper end of Limestone Bay today from 9AM till just before dark. The fishing was slow but a got a few keeping 26 and returning about the same number of short fish. I seemed to find small gills and strip everywhere. The water was clear with visibility of about 18 inches in the current and 52 degrees at daylight. Out of the current the water was a little cloudier and started at 54 degrees. The water had warmed to 54 in the current and 58 in the pits by 3PM. The fish were scatter with most coming off a jig with a pink and Chartreuse tube about 18 inches below a bobber. The lake is about four feet below full pool and dropping. It was nice to finally have some time to chase a few Crappie. Pics tomorrow when I clean them!
