Fished the gravel pits from 130 -5 and got 8 nice keepers on Bobby garland black and silver about 30 inches under a cork. Water was around a foot below full pool and clear in the creek and middle pit but dingy in the other 2 pits. Caught 3 in middle pit and 5 in small pit with no dinks and no other action. Took a while to catch 3 then switched pits and got 5 quick ones on a log that I knew about that is now well marked thanks to a fellow who fishes in a white hat. Large pit was windy and hard to fish so didn’t dwell there

Nice catches, are you fishing those pits in a boat or kayak?
16 ft aluminum bass boat when water is high enough. Otherwise I have to use my 12 ft flat with trolling motor and drag it into pit from creek . Canoe or kayak will get in em most of time but at low pool there’s dragging there too
Nice mess
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
