    Default Water levels at Cotaco

Does anyone know what the water levels and clarity are like right now at Limestone?

Also are the gates open or do you still need to use the Pryor Rd put in?

    Thanks!

Went by a gate on the refuge last night and it was wide open. Not sure if they all are, but this one was!

😂 Sorry for the confusion, I was trying to figure out where to go and put cotaco in subject line but limestone in the message. Ended up going to Indian creek anyway!

Got there around 10:15 and left around 1:10 after getting pushed out by the rain. Caught about 5-6 crappie jigging Bobby garlands (monkey milk and eclipse) laydowns with 3 keepers.

Bite was light but caught them around 4-5 feet. Most fish came within 1 hr of putting the kayak in, and the current was pulling almost too much to get my 1/32 jig head down to the right depth.

Caught a small black nose which was cool. Much too small to keep so hopefully the gene pool for those is doing well!

    Fun morning overall!
