Well me and buddy hit the water early yesterday to do some scouting of new water and sure glad we did. Ended up finding 3 or 4 areas that set up the same as I normally find my tournament size fish, and added 4 or 5 more tournament logs where I locate most of my biggest fish also. Now it’s time to keep an eye on them and find out what size fish can be caught out of the areas. We also did a little fishing, shot a few dock with only a few little guys being caught. Ended up finding tons of fish but not of any size, actually found fish that we caught pulling handties, didn’t have pulling poles in the boat, just used our short dock poles and let a ton of line out to let the fish that we were going over time to gather back up from being spooked by the boat. I know we saw at least 50-75 small schools and watched fish being pushed along the bottom as we were watching the scope. Getting that time of the year to put the pulling rod holders on the boat, sit back and witch those rod tips.
