Default Kayak report for limestone creek

I fished limestone creek Thursday from 8 till 11 . I caught 3 11 inch crappie , 1 short and small bass and stripe. Nothing in the pits or mouth of the bay. Ran into Ditch in the 1 st pit on the way back to the put in spot. His buddy was keeping him company in the center of the pit. He stayed put as i fished by him about 30 yards away. As soon as i spoke to Ditch he moved out close to the entrance to the pit. Hopefully the rain next week wont muddy up the water. Also saw several deer. All fish released for another day.Very nice short trip.

Looks like you had a good day! Even though the fish were not real cooperative.

    Thanks for the report!

It seems like every time I get on the water the last couple weeks, I see several deer. Not sure if the cooler temperatures have them moving around earlier this year or if there's just more of them, LOL!
