Default Kayak Trip Report, Limestone Bay/Creek

I fished the upper end of Limestone today. The water is upper 60's in the creek, low 70's in the pits. Crappie are still few and far between. I caught about half a limit, half short, half larger fish all returned. The water is down about 2 feet, but still waiting on the Crappie to make there move.

FYI, Gator was in the big pit today.

So, when it cools off some more, they move into the bay? Some nice ones are being caught in 12 to 14 feet of water at the mouth of the creek in the river channel.
