What area are you referring to as the spring where the otters were? I know of the spring at the put in, and the spring near the point on the north side. I went today and saw otters in the SW corner and on the north bank between the put-in and point.

The spring is on the point on the north east part of the lake. It is Where the fish and same station meets the water at the grass bed. It has been grass covered the last few times that I have fished it. Several years ago it was completely open and full of big bluegill and bass. Did you do any good? Hope to hit it before it gets hard to get through the grass at the put in.
