I fished stick marsh off sandy rd Thursday. Caught several bass but no crappie or blue gill. I think i found part of the problem in the form of Otters. There were 5 or 6 at the spring and they were chowing down on some fish.I fished it later in the day and never got a hit on anything. As usual the tall grass was almost impenetrable at the put in. The bass were eating the frog good. Biggest was about 4 1/2 lbs. Going to try limestone again in the next couple of weeks. Very nice day on the water. PS: had a little green friend that stayed with me all day. I think he knew better than to jump in the water with all the bass.

Cool on the otters, most people are scared for them eating all the fish (that might happen in a small pool), but I think the fish quickly learn to avoid them for the most part. I find them often in the same areas I fish and never seem to have a problem filing a cooler.
the otter pics are cool!!! Thanks.
Fun times for sure! Nice fish
